Gran Turismo 5 not even out before 2010.

Youve obviously never played previous GT titles to realise a Prologue is always released (well from 3 on wards). If you look at the texture models of the cars in GT5p, you can see why it takes so long. You have to have actually played it though.

but why is it taking another 2 years to finish
i doubt it takes that long to do some textures and car models
how much staff do they have?
part time mod groups on pc games deliver content quicker lol

I edited my post, it takes 6 months a car.

Bwahaha, the PSP part... That was my only reason for buying a PSP originally, I could see it was just a bit of a joke on Sony's part though after the continuous delays.
Why bother?

rubbing what in?
i bought a ps3 for gt5
you move on since you dont add nothing but crap
Some people are just amazed that you would buy a console at a launch price to play a game that was not going to be released for at least a year, why did you not wait until GT5 was almost released and buy a PS3 then at a much lower cost with a bigger harddrive?

launch price? i got my ps3 about 2 months ago cause i wanted to play gt5p
i guess thats why sony released it and bundled it silly me
i should sell it now

Ah, I see, good marketing move from Sony and PD

If you don't plan on any other games selling would be the best, you can always buy one again in 2010 :p

But you can also hold on to it and see what the Prologue updates will be?

I must admit the whole GT on the PS3 has been a bit cheeky, offering GT5P and GT HD they have got round announcing GT 5 by offering a inferior product of GT5, quite clever really to pull the wool over PS3 owners eyes.

They did it with announcing the price and date of GT5P when GT5 was delayed and they have done it again by announcing updates for GT5P when GT5 was delayed.

To be honest i think GT4 HD was meant to come out close to PS3 release but with the delay with the PS3 console itself of over a year which a lot of people are forgetting. The tech specs also were not confirmed and if anything changed so id assume what they had done with GT-HD development was scrapped. What we have been told though is that Nothing has been carried over from GT4, graphics, audio engine its all new, so they perhaps also had to spend the best part of a year to achieve a stable engine and performance for the game to use.

I fully agree that Polyphony do take silly amounts of time to produce a game and when you consider they have a team of approx 110 staff it gives you an idea into the kind of work it must take...

However they do deserve a lot of slack for the PSP GT promotion which has become a shambles. But again lets assume GT-HD being scrapped meant the PSP game wass put on back burner
