Hi Guys,

A question if you may...... ive recently sold a couple of small items on the bay and noticed that Paypal now offer the facility to pay for postage online, you just print the label off etc.

My question is this:

If i were to pay for 1st class recorded delivery, Paypal would print a "postage label" would i still need to fill out and attach a Royal Mail recorded slip or does the label have all the details on it etc ? Sounds mighty convenient if its a simple as that :)

As always, thanks in advance.

Dave.

Not a clue about the recorded delivery ticket, but it looks like one more way to take money away from the post office.

You can do the same online at royalmail.com, not sure how it works, but will be using it this week when my auctions finish.

Not too sure on the meat of it. Cost for a 320gram parcel is £2.66 which iirc is about what it would cost in PO.

doesnt the post office require weight of objects :p how could paypal do that :p

Hmmm, tough one. I think you may have actually 'broken' the system...... How could Paypal not have seen this one coming...... Damn them all to Hell!!! Or if damning them all to Hell seems a little too extreme just use a set of kitchen scales perhaps ?

Go for it, convenience wins every time :)

Dave.

Same cost, but you don't actually spend anything at the post office. Cash at the counter every time for me :)
