Gym Gloves and Protein Shakes

lol at this thread.
Be honest people, wearing gloves or not wearing gloves will not hinder to the slightest anyones work out on these forums! It is just a preference of feeling what is more comfortable and having 'w@nk hands' or not :D

Well as much as i hate admiting i'm wrong i did the workout i had planned for today without gloves, and my wrists feel much less abused and my grip isnt aching like usual, although my skin is pretty much wrecked. We'll see when it comes around to deadlift time again though wether or not i can go without gloves, that will be the acid test i guess.

Takes a big man to admit when he has no need to prove himself, that he might be wrong. :)

Come on man, if I and other can do over 200kg without gloves I'm sure you can! :D

i didnt use gloves for a while and make my hands super rough etc (not just callouses). So I just use gloves whenever I lift now, keeps the hands in good condition!

Some guys just don't belong in the gym, at least not near the weights (perhaps the pink DB's)

I see posts about wanting to puke unless their protein shakes taste like McDonalds, the weights give them rough hands. Some plum in the changing rooms today stood in the mirror today for about 15 mins totally starkers rubbing ******* moisturizer or something all over himself... wanted to push his head through the mirror tbh.

Man up a bit..?? Jeezus, I hope we never get invaded or anything, the country is full of pansies :p

LOL! What has taste (Which is essentially beyond your control) got to do with manliness? I guess people should tell their taste buds to 'man up' so they don't feel like puking when eating/drinking certain things?

Basically it's about being a whiney little girl. An unflavoured whey shake basically tastes of nothing yet people post about their main goal being they want to add 50lbs of pure muscle so they can get all big and butch...

Unless your willing to sweat blood, No Swearing a kidney with the pure effort until your eyes bleed then you aren't really going to hit your targets in the gym... not being willing to drink something that's not basically a kiddies milkshake isn't really a good start, if you see what I mean? :D

You said you saw posts in which people said they wanted to puke when drinking a protein shake (Presumably unflavoured). That's all. How is that being a whiny little girl? You're a whiny little girl because your taste buds happen to dislike a certain taste?

I bought about 5KG's of unflavoured whey I think it was, and I hated the taste. I would often nearly be sick when drinking it, and sometimes I was actually sick. I endured it though for the whole 5KG's and next time I bought flavoured because I could actually drink it without being sick. What's the point of going unflavoured if you hate the taste and are almost or actually sick whilst drinking it? If you have the choice then why wouldn't you choose the better option for you? To prove your 'manliness' or commitment? Don't be stupid.
