PS2 to USB converter, compatible with XBOX360?

Rather than buy a new USB keyboard, would a PS2 to USB converter suffice (have loads around work) plugged into the 360?

Anyone here using a converter with success?

I thought the 360 didn't support keyboards?

EDIT: Did alittle research, ps2 - usb keyboard will work fine. Only use for a keyboard with the 360 is sending messages though, I think.

I used to use a cheap usb one untill it broke, so I assume they do.

Yeah that should work, its only useful for messaging/typing in games. You can't use it as a control method. Id recommend the messenger kit, brilliant little accessory.

Cheers, I know that I can only use a keyboard for chat and what not. But the thing is, I *know* it should work, however I was hoping someone had first hand experience with a Ps/2 to USB converter.
