Just wondering if anyone around here has had much experience the electronic machines you get in the bookies?

i usually have a flutter most saturdays dont spend to much thou only what i can afford to lose :)

The most ive won is about £400. So does anyone else have much luck playing them?

(please dont say gambling is for chumps etc etc :p)

lol, I thought of that on my way into this thread, wondering if it was a similar thing.

They're strange things.

My dad said he was told by someone that when you select the game, if it takes ages to load, like it's frozen (20-25 secs), place a £1 bet on anything.

Whatever number comes up, bet on that number next spin. It always repeats itself. I did this the other day, covered number 35, it came up, repeated, 35 again, repeated, 35 again. Also, if the person next to you pressed the spin button at exactly the same time as you, the same number comes up. In reality, it doesn't mean a thing, because you'll probably end up with the worst result for both of you.

Well, I didn't bet much on it, but was surprised when it came up 3 times.

As you say, it's completely random, but it was strange that it happened when my dad mentioned it.

i try the repeat bet option most of the time some times it works but most of the time it wont but usually hits within one or two numbers of the one you were after!

i also find if 10 and 20 come out close together within 5-6 spins 30 will usually follow, a lot of people will have there own theorys but i guess it is just luck and wheather or not the machine feels like paying out :p

All of these "games of chance" e.g. quizz machines, one arm bandits etc are programmed to payout a certain % of the money taken, they keep a certain %, the house always wins ;)

I work for Ladbrokes, and sometimes have a play on them in the other bookies, but too be honest i am trying to stop playing them,i have seen so many people come in and put a few quid in and play them for the first time then a few weeks later there putting in £100's.I have seen someone put there fist through one of those roulette machines aswell. If you can budget yourself and play with what you can afford to loose and if you loose walk away.

when i play i normally bet on trends etc. e.g. if 3 blacks bet on a red.
my only bit of advice that i find works is if in the last lot of numbers(normally shown on screen) there is not a green 0 then bet on this nyumber eack time, probability states this is a good bet and over time you will win.

Still won't work. I've seen 15 blacks in a row before. 0 is a 36/1 chance, same as any other number. If 12 hadn't appeared in the last 12 spins, does that mean that's also a good bet?

erm no - just no - there are no trends, there is no system - it is just a way of extracting cash from idiots

the only known systems for beating roulette only work with real roulette tables and certainly don't involve crazy martingale/reverse martingale/whatever strategies
