Have you ever had a fist fight?

I never got caught fighting though.

I did, and I think it made it worse.

First incident was when this **** stirring little idiot in my class in year 7 spent 90 minutes of Chemistry winding me up from behind. Poking me with his ruler, compass, throwing bits of paper, etc.

As we went to leave, I stood up and he threw a metal clamp thing that hit me on the back of the head, hurt like hell.

In one movement I spun around and lamped him right between the eyes. Even funnier was the stools we sat on, he just fell right off it, took him totally by surprise.

Again, not proud of it, but I don't regret it. He fully deserved it.

The most undeserved thing I've ever done is probably when a lad in Primary School in my year kicked a ball and it hit me by mistake.

I drove my knee into his sack. That was a long day in the head teacher's office. :(

Ye a couple in plymouth where people just walked up to me in the street and head butted me in the face without saying anything and once in a club when someone head butted my mate for no reason.

Humm what is it with me and head butting.

Yea, head butting is a cowards aproach, usually instigated by short asses. If you can see it coming you can hold them off by their neck/ collar, but then you run the risk of being accused of instigating the fight. It's a difficult one :(

Dodge it and laugh as they head butt the lamp post behind you.

One at secondary school, although not a proper fight. My friend tried to retrieve a football for some year 7 kids stolen by some year 11 chavs. This led to me and him being punched quite a few times, starting a mini 'cold war' between the 6th form and the lower year chavs.

Was worth it as one of my friends the next day went straight up to the villain and made him cry with an all mighty headbut! :D

Reguarly, knocked one or two out in the process... Sparring of course.

Since I left school I haven't gotten into a serious fight.

I've had my fair share over the years. I've been going down the pub every Monday Tuesday Friday and Weekends for about 28 years now. Usually at the weekend there's drunkards in it that insist on fighting for no reason. When we reject (albeit rare) they wait outside to "sort us out". Therefore we end up fighting whether we like it or not.

Other times I've to fend off numerous burgulars (no not all at once), druggies threatening me in side streets, people threatening my wife, and people threatening my kids (unacceptable). Quite a few times though I've been done over well and truly. Been to hospital due to fighting any amount of times.

Round here violence is rather commonplace. Sometimes the only way to solve things is to put people in their place.

Yea, fist fight……………….

It was just after Fight Club had been released at the cinema when I was at uni, and my mate and I went to see it. Few days later, my mate came to our kickboxing class at the end after being down the student union bar, a tad sloshed. He decided he fancied a proper fight with no protective gear in the fight club fashion. He came up to me and said what’s the first rule of fight club, I answered him then smacked him one.

So we ended up having a full contact 30 minute session without sparing gear or floor mats. We were both badly bruised for weeks after but the rush was brilliant. I still wear some of the scars. The other students were amazed as well.

Had to drive back to Bournemouth that evening for a date with my now wife.

Still at school and not really had one yet. A couple of close calls but nothing serious.

Sometimes at rugby things got out of hand. A few of our games got cancelled mid-way through for fighting. I landed a few punches but never got hit myself so don't know if it counts. :p

Worst I saw was when I was in 1st year of secondary school (now in 5th). A lad in 6th year must have annoyed some people from a council estate and about 6 neds (scottish equivalent to chavs) came down at the end of school to the 'Back Gate' where all the bad stuff 'goes down'. It was 6 v 1, plus a couple of guys who darted in and out of the fight. The lad got destroyed but didn't go down lightly. At the end he had his ear hanging off with blood pouring down his face. Not a pretty sight :( Not sure if it was from a knife or if his ear was bitten or what..... It was proper hardcore :p

Never needed too.

There have been occasions where mates have, but i wasn't there. If i was there i would have though.

Same really.

Mind you I'm only 16, so I might have it all to come?

Do you guys think that being beaten up is just something everyone experiences at one time or other?

Fighting is generally for the mentally challenged. Best to avoid situations where fights may ensure. I have managed not to have a fight in about 21 years, since I was a child(17).
