My mums after a coupe for around the above price range.

Other than the obvious oldish Boxter, TT, 350z, RX8 etc Has anyone got any suggestions?

I think the SLK is very mum friendly.

I bet she likes it because its well put together, I doubt there are many mums that trash vtecs like they need.

I'd suggest the TT. It's soft and refined enough for your average middle aged lady and still retains a reasonable level of performance despite this. The numb steering will go in it's favour as it won't tramline everywhere, the interior is great and the 1.8T models are quite frugal.

I doubt it doesn't go anywhere near 17k revs, altough her bf is a petrol head so I imagine that was the main reason it was bought.
