Anyone know a phone number to get a English person at Barcleycard?

But yeah, the biggest issue we find is that they just don't take responsibility for anything. If you're a home user with Dell, your experience is probably not gonna be that great.

Thats the main problem.. I have spoken to a few folks in ireland too and they dont give a stuff either mind.. I am hoping im going to get a refund now (trading standards advised me its within my rights at this point, and I wrote to dell head office already, just waiting on a reply). Never buying Dell again.

It is so frustrating I just want to hang up on 90% of the people I have spoken to. I have managed to be perfectly civil to every person I spoke too, but I have been close to losing it a few times :(

The Irish people in Dell only care if: you're a huge business user and they'll bend over backwards for you or you're an Enterprise customer. Their customer care is also appalling. It's almost like they don't want to help...

As a general rule, to yourself or anyone who buys Dell, unless it's a monitor (in which case you'll get through to us in Glasgow) I'd buy the business warranty.

Interesting that! I still dont think I would risk buying Dell again, the experience has just been that bad. If the support line was even freephone that would take a lot of the stress away. At least now they have stopped with 'Can you please go on hold for 2 minutes while I transfer the call to my manager' at the end of the call. That was almost the final straw one time :D

probably been said already but ask to speak to their supervisor and say your not happy, repeat the same thing to their supervisor, they transfer you then to england.

That doesnt work for Dell by the way. Don't know about barclaycard :)

I've always been put through to uk people when calling them, all been from Liverpool I think :)

One on teesside (stockton) I worked there for a while last year. They had another at manchester but that has been closed iirc & another in liverpool so your unlucky to go through to that one..:p
