Arite, we all know how mint friends is so dont even bother comin on with anythin other than an answer to my question or praise cos I'm not bothered with you if you dont think its mint.

Anyway, I have all the episodes here and there from years ago on video and some other formats but I've wanted a box set for years. You can get a black one which looks the best that I've seen, you can get a red one which is apparently, a cheaper reissue of the black one and one that is like a tin can.

Now, the black one would be my choice but I've been reading reviews of it on Amazon and a few people have said that there arent many extras in it, 2 about London, a gag reel and then maybe 2 others, plus some of the episodes are shortened from 22 mins to 20, somethin E4 does and it does my head in, the crap version ones I have are always full length.

Now, I read the red one is even more shortened than the black one and far less classier, cant find anythin about the tin one but does anyone know which is the best to get? I'd get the nicest lookin one but if there is another box set which has more features etc. on it plus all full length episodes than I'd gladly sacrifice how nice it looks.

Which one do you lot have? And also, how amazing is friends?

I have a secret penchant for Friends.

I daren't tell my wife, she would uttely crucify me if she found out. 3+ years of me telling her it sucks and I hate it because it's gay, low-brow and typically Americanly predictable, when actually I quite frequently find myself laughing away inside- far too often for comfort infact.

Don't get me wrong i don't mind Friends but i prefer Seinfeld if we are talking American sitcoms. Red Dwarf still the king tho! Sorry OP not aware of boxset differences

I have all the Friends on DVD, and at the prices they are going at at the moment, you're probably better off buying each individual box set. If you look around, you can find them for a tenner each! And they've got all the bonus features included, and aren't shortened.

:)
