Think ocuk will be a week or two before we see lower prices. The q9450 is on this weeks special. So they obviously have a backlog they are trying to shift. Before bringing in the new chips and reducing prices.

Yes I suspect they may swing out some cuts under the TWO banner, to give it more publicity and catch a few people unawares who may not realise prices are dropping across the board and will think they are getting a bargain.

I'm not in any hurry at all, my e4300 takes everything I throw at it so I'm gonna pick up a quad once they go below £100.

Lol, well my current rig is a pentium 4 @ 3ghz, 512 ram, x800xt so it plays COD4 at minimum settings 1024x768 so you can probably understand why I'm keen to see the new prices

Am only going to buy a mid range rig core duo 2ghz cpu, ATI HD 3850, 2 gig ram build but it'l play gears, cod 4 etc nice enough for me

Competitors was selling Q9450 at that price ages ago, changed my mind and kept Q6600, 9550 or 9650 is the one I'm after
