Put it up for sale for 200€ including 5 games and wireless controller.

(Very old core version hehe)

I've moved back to PC gaming and PCs in general still it was fun while it lasted :D

I simply couldn't resist. The 200€ will buy me a 4870 card and the 90€ I got for the 120gb drive will by a new motherboard to keep me upto date.

Anyone else thinking of going back to PC gaming with the new 4870 gfx cards out?

I still have the PS3 but can't really be bothered to switch it on for gaming and just use it as an expensive blu ray player (because I don't have any blu rays) my local dvd shop started renting blu ray but has now stopped due to lack of demand. Even my local hypermarket in Belgium doesn't stock them anymore. How are sales/rentals of bluray doing in UK?

My PC still runs all the games I want to play so it isn't a case of not gaming on it because of that. I don't game on it because I am bored of the current titles and nothing else at the moment interests me.

I also prefer chilling out on the sofa with the surround sound and a big screen than sitting hunched over my PC. Although I do miss my clan days in COD/CS/BF.

The last game I played on my PC was Painkiller2 (love those games) but gave up with trying to keep graphics card upto date then.

Games are for consoles!

I like to think I have now found a balance for my gaming, between consoles and pc.

I absolutely prefer my 360 for gaming, but feel guilty hogging the TV, so don't spend extensive amounts of time gaming on it. I simply don't like sitting on PC for gaming very much, though have found a way to be more comfortable.

If I had to choose one of the two platforms, I would go with the console. But only if I could have a dedicated comfortable area for playing. If I have to sit in a small box room behind a desk, would just stick with PC.

I think it's time to dump the other half so I can use my TV for gaming again.

There's a Painkiller 2?

er it looks like I was mistaken :o could have sworn it was 2

However, yes there is http://www.projectoverdose.com/ but not played it.
Also a massive thanks Knives for making me search, as I didn't realise there was a Painkiller for the [original]Xbox, now to try and track a copy down :D

[edit] ah it was the expansion pack I was originally refering to; Battle Out Of Hell. My fuddled brain thought it was 2 [/edit]

When I do play PC games, i usually play real time strategies. The last one i played was Company of heroes. I've been toying with the idea of getting an ATi 4850 as they're such good value and would gave a massive boost over my X1950pro. I like the look of the new Total War game due early next year.

I've even considered ditching the desktop totally to make some room, and either using my laptop, or getting a Mac mini. There's no way i'd ditch my console. Games like Rock Band are FAR too much fun.

I don't game a lot anymore full stop and got fed up spending money to upgarde my PC so now I just have my laptop & PS3. Primarily the PS3 is a Blu-ray player as here in the UK where I am Blu-ray films are expanding with most shops/supermarkets selling them and rental outlets have a decent selection at the same price as standard DVD's. Even my local library has a good selection of Blu-ray films and get most of the new ones in.
