Microsoft is adamant on making it either only Xbox 1 games, or other games that are under a specified filesize.
What with the 60GB 360 now becoming standard there shouldn't be a limit anymore.
 
Regarding the filesize limit on XBLA, as far as I'm aware it's still in place, but Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix has been given special dispensation to break this limit I believe. So it could be possible.
 
Apparently it used to be 50MB, went up to 250MB, but if you're rich and powerful enough you can convince Microsoft to let you have 450MB.
 
if they remake it, all i ask is that they keep it text based, please do not give the chars voices... :(

other than that, woo! i still play the original to date, i hope its the same story, scenes, music, just refreshed graphics. maybe some more side quests thrown in etc.

Personally I want voice acting also better graphics, and better music (well enhance the music using real interments and orchestras etc)

Keep everything exactly the same... (maybe improve the mini games such as the snow boarding)

The tech demo we saw of the game at the PS3's release is actually the game itself. Nothing will convince me otherwise. Except the game itself. And if it's not the same thing, I'm commiting suicide.
 
Hope they remake it, much rather wait for a remake than a re-release, might give me a reason to buy a PS3 again and keep it this time!

It has been playable on the PSP for a long time ;) no updated graphics though as it is the PS1 version but still, it is playable and it works best on a small screen as you can't see the bad graphics as well as on a 40" LCD :p


If they wanted to make a FF-VII remake I guess they would have done it long ago, I am beginning to think it will never be made.
 
I get excited at the thought everytime but never seem to hear any actual 'real' news if you follow me?

I think i'm going to have to ignore all the hype and just anaesthetise myself to anything FF7-esque until I can actual purchase something :p
 
I doubt they will be doing a remake any time soon to be honest.
I would love for it to be done but I just don't see it.

IF the original is released on PSN / XBLA then I will give it a go again but I really don't think I have the same desire to play games for hours on end anymore and so I doubt I will enjoy it as much the second time round.

Personally, text based for the english language whilst having japanese voices. What we dont know or understand sounds great.

oh and TGS = the NEW e3
