would love for this game to be remade
absolutely loved the combat system in ff7
agreed, the battle system was good. best thing i liked about it. hated the system on 12, real time battles aren't so good IMO. turn based and being on opposite sides was awesome.

Remade with summons like FF10, more weapons / armour & customisation of each, more / bigger dungeons, bigger towns, Midgar like in crisis core plz, damage over 9999 and more insane bosses. Oh and more gold saucer. This would make me a very happy chappy.
Updated graphics & sound an obvious one. I don't mind voice acting, but give us the option of normal, jap sound with subs, or just subs.

but it wasn't turned based, you had the ATB which made spells such as haste, slow etc make a lot more sense!

Indeed no turn based here. I still think the ATB system is one of the best for RPG's.

If they changed the game that severely it would be abig mistake, We need improved graphics and sound. Possibly up the stats of some characters, and increase the Max level/Hp/Strength. To actually try and move the game away from turn based is silly.

Sounds like a remake is going to happen as the rumour is the pendulum is supposed to swing back in Sonys direction with Square.
Still not too bothered about a remake, I played the game and I loved it but I'd rather see more of FXIII as it looks really interesting.

When would people like the game to end?... to include the events of Advent Children?
Personally I thought the film diminished the ending of the game, the way Septhroth, Rufus, The Turks came back from the dead for the movie etc.

I'd rather they just forgot about Advent Children to be honest
I'm in the same boat I think, or maybe alter the events to fit into the continuity of Advent Children if they really feel the urge. Although I think it works a lot better with Rufus and the others implied dead.

This size keeps creeping up and up, last I heard it was 350mb, and due for another expansion soon.
Do you really think microsoft would turn down a game like FFVII because it was too big?
