:D

Call me cynical, but really, I'm not that impressed, it's a stripped down track car they are just making available through dealers. If it could seat 4, with all the usual luxuries and still be the fastest FWD 'Around the ring' then I'd be impressed..

Still, a nice idea..

The thing is Renault have the ballsto produce a car like this, i dont see any of the other hot hatch makers producing a cars like this?

At 25k for that, they must think that a fool and his money is easily parted. No doubt they will sell but I would want a touch more refinement to put it mildly, not to mention a buttload more power for my 25k. I am not anti-french at all, owned a 106XSI and 2 106GTI's, but £25k can buy some very nice machinery.

It's gonna be about £23k and it's a very limited edition so the residuals should hold up better than the normal car. It's also going to be cheaper than the Focus RS and go about what it does in a different way which is good.

Then save some money and buy a standard R26 then.....

They will sell because people will like the exclusivity of owning one, much like the Mini GP. Only 500 (I think?) came to Britain so they're very rare, but cmon...£20k for a Mini with 2 seats and the worst rudeboy bodykit ever...people need their heads examining!

For £25k there are much better stripped cars, that's Exige money at the end of the day, and an Exige may not be as comfortable on the daily commute, but those bucket seats in the R26R don't look to be the comfiest things to sit in for longer periods either!

Plus - no scaffolding in an Exige!!
