Well you could sell a million litres at cost price or 1000llitre and make 5p a litre.

I think it's obvious which would make more profit.

However this is irrelevant as we were discussing quality not price.
 
Sainsburys super unleaded is 97ron vs vpower which is 99ron isn't that right ?
 
yea it's 97 ron, but supermarket fuel is 99.7% water (give or take) :D

yea optimax is 99 ron, it also has various other additives that supposedly clean the engine and smooth the operation.

I'm convinced they've started making regular unleaded crappier so people buy high octane...
 
saying I like v power is hardly preaching, so how about you shut your face.

Optimax was rebranded to V-Power, it was also given an extra 1 ron, but still a rebrand regardless.

oh yea, and while we're playing at "lets be pedantic", V Power also contains Friction Modifier Technology (FMT), which Optimax did not have, among some other compounds.

I use BP for the nectar points. Company pays my fuel so I don't give a toss what the per litre is.

I do care about getting £100 to trash on food and drink once a year though.
