PS3 Firmware 2.50 - July 31 - Life with Playstation

PS3 System Software ver 2.50 to be released July 31, 2008

This update includes the following changes

* [PLAYSTATION Lifestyle] has been added as a feature and will include [News] and [Weather] topics to be updated daily.
* The way the visual player is used has been changed.
* Issues occuring with the Bluetooth headset have been addresed.
* You can now adjust the placement of the Date & Time on the XMB.

i wish they would focus on getting things like home ready instead of the weather, if i want to know the weather i look out of the window

Supposed to be similar to what the wii offers except in their own style.

Meh that weather/news thing is pointless for me, my TV is next to the window and I can just go on BBC News 24 for the news.
