Can You Infect And Kill The World?

Get the whole world infected before I left work, but then could't make the disease lethal before they made a vaccine. Parasites are sooo slow to evolve.
 
This game is good but involves far too much luck to infect Madagascar. I played through again about 4 times and twice I only saw one boat go into their port and that was really early on. To anyone who can't do it, do the following and cross your fingers:

- Remove default symptom
- Evolve airborne
- Put 1/1/1/2 into resistances (putting more into resistances seemingly does very little)
- Pray it reaches them

If it does work you'll have about 100+ points built up to turn your harmless parasite into something very deadly. It's a dumb strategy but it's the only way I can get the bloody thing to spread.

Putting moisture resistance to 2 lets you infect the water supply.

I do hope Al-Queda don't get their hands on this. :eek::eek:;)

Well I've tried putting points into all transmissions and putting 3/3/3/3 into resistances and the outcome is the same (spreads every where very quickly except Madagascar). It's silly. Simply luck and a tiny bit of strategy to get Madagascar.

The idea is not to put much into resistances until Madagascar is infected. High resistances triggers responses from governments. You want low resistances + no symptoms until you've got everyone infected.

I know and that still doesn't work most of the time.

Edit: Just played it through twice and not once did a ship go into Madagascar's port before they closed it :rolleyes:

Brilliant game, completed it on my second try. Are there any other games like this on the pc be it fash or a proper game. Been getting bored of pc games of late but this has got me hooked again.

Maybe i got lucky with madadgascar but i completed the game first time, started in greenland as people have said its all about infecting the entire planet before anyone realises, get enough resistance to get it in the water and the air, then get some lost visability symptoms, then when every country is infected get the highly infectious symptoms, and then the killing ones

I should point out that I've only done it with a parasite. Never come close to getting everywhere with a virus or bacteria.
 
I managed to do it with a virus this morning. No symptoms, and heat II. Started in Cuba, and it took a while to spread, but I did get it eventually :)

The problem you have is that without resistances it doesn't spread very fast, but with them they close the boarders pretty quickly.

One thing I did learn as well was rather than building up drug resistances when the vaccine is being developed, add a symptom that kills. Closes the hospitals pretty quickly and lengthens the time for the vaccine to be developed.
