Crossword puzzles... i got the hardest one!

I think i have found the hardest 'quick' crossword puzzle in a newspaper todate!

Yorkshire Evening post!!!

it says QUICK... Laugh!!! no way are you going to do this in less than 2 hours without help of internet ect...

Dont believe me, try these clues for size..

Special Gifts (7)
Supple (5)
Accidental (13)
Obsolete (7) starts with an O

Many more, but it is fun and sometimes the answers are odd indeed...

I'd agree they certainly can be but look at how many letters the word is meant to have.

I find the problem with crosswords is initially in getting the 'level' they are pitched at, once you've done that you can adjust your thinking and vocabulary to suit.

the outworn answer is right, but all of us here at work state that outworn is not a word!!! and does not mean obsolete anyhow!!! hate this crossword lol... and yet each day we do it....

IT does make you think and its a lot harder than the mirror crossword lol... but still, some of these answers are a little strange at times...

How many letters? I doubt I'd get it anyway but at least it gives something to aim at.

And yep, colinuk that does seem unnecessarily hard, certainly not what I'd call common vocabulary.
