Thinking about getting this game Microsoft Flight Simulator X (Deluxe Edition),but never played any simulator game. So anyone played it? What the graphics and gameplay like?

Graphics : Needs a really, really, really, really fast CPU
Gameplay : Not that realistic on the default planes.

never played these games but isit just as it says on the tin? no object other than flying about?

Ive Owened, 2002, 2002 Pro, and FSX. FSX is far the best, yeah the default planes arent all fully releastic, but you can download free addons and that. other then that, make sure you have a good machine, some time on your hand, and a Joystick is a must for best experiance. or even a flight yoke

If you want to seriously get into commercial flight simming - leave FSX well alone and invest in FS9 and a multitude of add-ons.

If you just wanna fly about a bit and occasionally dabble with the odd commercial flight, FSX will do you fine.
