That guru3d review did say don't take the power figures that seriously yet as it wasn't final release board so no need for people to panic over psu requirements just yet.
I wish ATi / nVidia would come out with a Multi-GPU solution that doesn't need profiles, and works in everything.
What your asking then is for them todo something that still cant be done even on multi core CPU`s & that is make every game & software use multi thread no matter how it is programmed & it would be MS job to make profiles in the OS to make non multi threaded software multi threaded.

(I hope
)Hmm you know what would make my wallet happy if there was actually some amazing new game out to take advantage of the 4870X2 !
I need BF3/RA3/SC2/DNF/ even COD expansion or COD3 or Crysis warhammer
Need my fix lol, but am considering since theres sod all new or decent games lately maybe a 4850 is ok for now.
Whats with the grid top res performance? on the anandtech review.
Its like nearly 3 times faster than 4870 crossfire. and why is one 4870 better than crossfire 4870's hmm, probably mixed up...still why is 4870x2 suddenly so much faster. as its 2 times faster than any other ATi alternative.
