They had a game booth at Comic-Con last Thursday. So i'd be amazed if this is true

Seems silly to me as the latest vids/pics look really great. Some sites even have previews of the gameplay up. Hmmm doesn't really make sense as surely a solid Ghostbusters game would sell well. Waste?

TBH that headline is just a bit of sensationalism, I doubt they have canned Ghostbusters as AFAIK it's nearly finished, they just havent announced a firm release date - although I thought a release date had already been announced That article is saying basically Activision are having a restructure thats all.

[UPDATE]: An Activision Publishing representative confirmed for GameSpot that it will not be publishing Vivendi titles beyond the scope of the five announced franchises. That leaves a number of high-profile projects in limbo, including Brutal Legend, Ghostbusters, Wet, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, World at Conflict: Soviet Assault, 50 Cent Blood on the Sand, Zombie Wranglers, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, as well as several Xbox Live Arcade titles.

Its a load of BS tbh mate. Didnt realise Activision and Vivendi are together...

Cool though.... however after it being at E3, previews and loads of hype i doubt its canned, delayed maybe..?! not canned though... it would be a financial loss on a huge scale.

It very nearly killed Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines and I was so glad when the Creative Assembly were bough by Sega, because it meant more patches for Rome: Total War.
