The best Silent gfx card?

You've got me thinking about this 'Silent GFX Card' now!

This computer ive just built is the fastest but also the quietest pc ive ever had, but not when i put my 1950Pro back in it - admittedly its not as noisy as new cards, but its enough to annoy me.

Can u get a silent, maybe watercooled setup for the 4870's? Would really like one of these cards ....but a quiet one :rolleyes:

Yes ive just been looking at a review of the 4870 and the 3870 is quite a lot slower than it, didnt mention the 9600.

..... I DEMAND SOMEONE MAKES A SILENT 4870..... NOW :D

1. Unless you have a very small CPU cooler ( I used a Tuniq tower and also tried a Noctua 12 ) , you have problems getting the fan fitted to the heatsink. There is just
not enough room. The alternative is you do not use any PCI cards.

2. The glue that holds the ramsinks on is useless , I had several of them fall off , not cool when metal and electricity mix.
 
Is the accelero s1 really compatible with the 8800GTX? it's not actually listed as such anywhere on the 20 or so websites I've looked at
