Slightly shocked at this one - fair enough night clubs regularly discriminate(sorry lads not tonight, no trainers etc..) but I've never heard of them doing it so openly to the point where they've simply banned fat chicks.

from what ive heard on another board im on the manager is a well known prat, but then again its the same things club managers have been doing forever usually their just not daft enough to actually tell people why they arnt allowed in

I seem to remember quite recently in Northern Ireland, I think it was, a disabled woman was asked to leave a pub. She successfully sued them for damages for discrimination.

I don't particularly think they'd get away with it, or it would be seen as acceptable to anyone, if they had a sign saying "No Blacks".

I suppose discriminating on religion, is illegal so the club would be in serious bother.

Tbf its probably a club like most others, where most of the money is made from men going out to pull and buying drinks whilst out. Men going out to pull wont want to pull fat people (the majority of the time) and therefore would be less likely to go to the club if fat people were in it.

It's a pretty grim decision and exposes what the night club is really about.
