If you buy second hand it is not guaranteed to work flawlessly. If the previous owner is playing at the same time as you are then you're not going to be playing. Seeing as MP doesn't need the CD in the drive I'm sure even the casual players have figured out they can keep on playing even if they sell it on, so I wouldn't risk it.

i used googles search but cheapest i got for uk was £30 al the other sites seemed like imports and im not bothering with that

was the £22 a uk seller?

No, i don't believe you can FrostedNipple.

All of the previous COD games have always been one CD-Key at any one time. The server/player has nothing to do with it who can use it.

Depends who you buy it from I'd imagine anyone from the MM wouldn't use the cd key though.

Yup, just find the ini file with the stats stored locally and look for the parameter you wish to change. Only a few knew about it at first but now it seems everybody is doing it.

It only takes about 15 hours of total gameplay to get all unlocks, why would you cheat your way to them? I mean if it took 250+ hours (a la BF2) then I could see your point but it's more than easy enough as it is. Plus it's a nice way to get to know all the guns.

wish i could transfer my 3rd prestige from my xbox though ha ha!

im selling some car parts on the bay so i should be able to pick up a new + proper copy tomorrow
