You are a bad person, you and I both know this, you also are probably fully aware of my opinion on religion, I just can't see the humour in this particular case.

In addition, if this hotelier was so adamant that he saw an image of the Virgin Mary how come he has moved?

I think calling people stupid for blindly following their beliefs is a bit harsh. We all do things without thinking about them and only realising our wrong doings in hindsight. Scientifically speaking, yes it was not the smartest thing to do but in their eyes (pardon the pun) it was an opportunity to see the mother of the messiah. Im sure that if some one shouted "OMFG I SEE STEVE JOBS IN THE SUN" we would have a lot of blinded apple fanatics.
