There are millions of people half-heartedly dieting and going to the gym while there's an offer on, only to realise losing weight and getting fit is actually hard work. The Wii Fit will make those people feel good about themselves.

Nintendo's marketing genius is to make the Wii Fit attractive to those millions of people. Low impact + little effort = fitness. Just it's name alone suggests that just by using it, you'll get fit. It's also a computer. This is high tech stuff here, so it must work.

But of course you and I both know that gently leaning to the left won't do carp. But that doesn't matter. It's a placebo, and that's all it needs to be, because people will be falling over themselves to buy one. And Nintendo are laughing all the way to the bank.

Wish I thought of it.

Yep, I fell for the temptation of getting it at RRP. Trust me, save your money. Even the GF is bored of it now, and she thought it was great for about a week.

I swear you could make Wii-branded dirt and it would still sell for over RRP :/
