Going on pupulation figures anyway. It's counting the Yorkshire and Humber regions, which is basically not far off the old East, North and West Ridings.

As a Yorkshireman, this came as a surprise to me. Maybe devolution isn't such a bad idea...

I thought the went back to the East/West/North separation ages ago? Humberside as an entity doesn't exist any more, even though everyone seems to think it still does. :confused:
