**Soul Calibur IV**

Im undecided about this, I would quite like it but I really want to try a demo first.

I'm quite the same.

I was going to preorder it from the US, and decided against it.
I'm hoping for a demo, otherwise I think I'll just skip it.
Plenty of other games to buy coming up in the not too distant future.

So a potential lost sale to them, because they didn't provide a demo, and not the first time this has happened. I'd probably buy even more games, if I could try a demo first.

Vin.

Mines on its way too :D

I have played a beat-em-up for years, this appealed to me so I pre-ordered, no doubt I'll be out of my depth but what the hell.
First task is to complete Arcade mode with Yoda so I can unlock The Apprentice :D

Just got my copy today, having some fun with it now.

Seems like the game has a lot of depth yet I still find myself button mashing, any tips on the best way to start playing this game with a bit of skill?

Just finished a story mode in around 15 minutes...

Is there a training mode like Tekken games? If so i just used to spend a while in there learning all the characters moves from the command list in the pause menu. Then gradually introduce the moves into normal combat. Eventually you'll stop button mashing and start to do meaningful combos and stuff :)

Yes, there is a training mode with moves lists.

Also when I complete a story mode at the end it says 'Stage Unlocked' is this for that same character and I can just go another stage further upon the last time?
