Pride

I did that a couple of years ago. While we were out, three men were standing in the middle of the street snoging each other and putting their hands down each other's trouser fronts. I enjoy the parade and floats etc, it's the dirty fools like these which spoil it.
Talk to the organisers then. It's inappropriate and most likely illegal.

I thought Gay Pride would consist of a lot of well dressed fashionable people discussing interior décor? You sure it isn't Heterosexual Pride or Drunken Chav Pride?

Ooh, hear this saucy minx, he's got teeth. :p

I've never been to a gay pride event (I'm not even sure if Dundee is big on pride of any sort at all) but I'd reckon it can get a bit raucous especially with alcohol and sunny weather. Much the same as any other large gathering of people where you have those two elements.

Indeed it does. Most gay men and women I know are very nice people. But there are just as many morons in that social area as anywhere else.

Pride in brighton is just ultra mega camp. It pretty much reinforces the stereotypes that gay people are ultra camp well built tanned speedo wearing fairies.

Love this time of year as I get to dust off the mankini.

Come to Brighton and enjoy the beautiful thing that is man love :D

You could... watch the parade. Even buy the kids an ice cream. I hear it's a great family occasion and not nearly as grubby as some make it out to be.

What's more likely to be accurate... your speculation, or his personal experience?

Ben, don't troll. It's an option. I've not been but others have said it was quite a day out, hence the phrase "I hear it's a great family occasion".

One of my colleagues lives in Brighton, and goes to Pride most years. He's straight and takes his wife along for the 'hilarious' sights.

I think he's actually a gayer.

Ed, I clearly wasn't trolling. What you said was really rather silly.

Were you expecing himt o turn around and thinkt o himself "Wow, Ed heard that it was quite a good time. I'm going to go outside and join in this year, instead of hiding from the horrors I have previously witnesses at the event."

You're not really contributing to the thread are you? You're picking on me, which is trolling. Silly, not at all. I know many people (families) who have been to the event and all had a great time. The kids loved it. So two or three idiots spoil it for a few, that happens every night in every town in the UK. If you let that stop you going out then you'll lead a very sheltered life.

I turned up in Amsterdam one weekend to find out it was gay pride weekend, fortunately I was with the missus

Was no bother TBH just looked like a huge Village People audition

One of the clubs had a big banner outside advertising " Amsterdam Pride Gangbang tonight" , had it been anywhere else I would have just thought it was a name they had thought up for the event, being Amsterdam however it was probably exactly what it said
