Pride

I'm not homophobic, i do not fear the queer!

But i can't abide f*gs!
You know, the mincing queens that just have to big it up to such an embarrassing level that there simply has to be something loose upstairs.

why is brighton full of gays anyway? Or do they just flock there for this one.....gathering of queerness?
My mate used to donate sperm in Brighton....for a tenner a shot, literally! :D

I find it amusing how the posters who choose to live in Brighton, cannot deal with the gayness :p

I was only joking ;) I usually go to Pride, its no way near as bad as some people make out.
Will miss it this year, but all my mates are going to it. I'm in London for Emirates Cup.

But, during Pride, On the beach, there are thousands of straight birds all getting into the 'mood' and the rest is mostly people using and abusing certain chemicals.

Most of the town go, gay or straight. It's a massive party. I'd be more concerned with my children doing beans than getting skewered if they where there in the nighttime tbh. :p

Yes, Brighton is Briton's gay capital. Not sure why, but it is. Good for the straight guys as the girls fight over you.

You can still live a full, and happy life in Brighton as a homophobe. Most gay people stay in Kemptown and in the gay bars on the other side of the pier, whilst in the central part of Brighton, its largely very attractive women, good clubs, and a surprisingly low ration of chavs to norms.

It has a large drug culture though, and some clubs may put on slightly camp themes some night (My housemate pulled a tranny once, never lived it down - He's Polish so if his dad ever found out... )

P.S. Snakedoctor, you will know all this, it's more for the benefit of others :D

The one day me and my GF decide to go to Brighton last year and when we got there and saw a guy walking down the road with just pink hotpants on we realised we picked the wrong day!

We went straight home.

Apologies. I was on the way home from football. :D

It gets a bit noisy, but it's generally OK.

I have lived in Brighton for 32 years, I like gay people, dislike fake campness and overt sexual behaviour in the street. I treat all people the same until proven otherwise.

Ok, ok it looks like something I said in jest has made people go on the defensive. Sorry!

Lets all love the gays together! :D
