About 2.30pm today Morrisons reduced their price of fuel by a further 4p in diesel, and 2p in petrol. I'm not sure if anyone else has reduced thus far too, if so say so.

And I spent £50+ on filling yesterday :<

SVO F T W! Is that what you run on?

:) I ran my Fiesta D on this stuff for at least 6 months, probs more. Did like 15k miles on it :p

SVO is for girls :p, finest preloved oil here. Automotive aromatherapy, exhaust smell changes depending on what was cooked in it :D

I paid 108.9p last fill up from my local Tesco last week. I didn't think that was too bad going on other stations.

The reason I know is because I work part time at Morrisons in the Cash office, I was floating and balancing the money over at petrol. And half way through my lift, the station got a call from Head Office to reduce the prices again.

I'm half surprised it hasn't been noticed elsewhere. And no, it wasn't just my local.

good strategy on behalf of govt etc...bump up price massively, then cut a little and everyone is happy/satisfied...
what has the current round of price rises/cuts got to to do with the govt? last time i looked duty and vat have remained constant (obscene but constant)

this is all linked to the price of crude being traded, which has dropped off a few dollars a barrell over the past week both Brent and Nymex.

The site is usually delayed a little so the 108.9 is technically possible, although unlikely.
I can scan the receipt if you like?

Although, it was actually 113.9 with 5p off per litre voucher, none the less I paid 108.9p a litre.
