Hi, I really wanted a Iphone but was told it doesn't do MMS or take pictures, what other alternatives are there? I know theres a Samsung out there what is that called and is there others?

Thank you.

Also, is it true I cannot put MP3's on the Iphone? I have like say 100 stored on my hard drive, can I put them on the iphone even though I didn't download/buy them off itunes?

No that isn't true, and yes, you can put them on the iPhone even though you didn't buy them from iTunes.

Do you have to use iTunes to sync the music onto it? It is the main thing putting me off the iPhone at the moment. I want to be able to just drag and drop the music on how I want it.

How will the onmia (of whatever its called) compare to say the HTC Diamond?

What are the battery lives on the phones when they are using WIFI for instance? Could they last a day of WIFI use?

Samsung Omnia
HTC Touch Diamond
HTC Touch Pro

mda compact iv same internals as diamond but classier looking. less plasticky

If you have experience with windows mobile then you could use a different ROM, but personally the bright pick t mobile interface on the MDA is enough to put me off

Omnia, whilst more expensive has a slightly bigger screen, and by the looks of it a more simple user interface. The Omnia also has a faster CPU and I believe slightly more memory. Also the diamond has 4GB of memory, whereas *** Omnia has the options of 8 or 16 GB of memory.

Rough guess at 4-5 hours on wifi with my diamond, but generally thatll be with bluetooth on, along with MSN messenger in *** background and sometimes music running too.

U990 viwety?

My dad has one of those, and I find it very restrictive personally. It does the majority of things, but its got something about it i dont like, then again ive not used an LG ive liked yet so it might just be me.

the omnia has a 1440 mAH battery which is huge for a phone...you will probably easily get a whole day of wi-fi according to reviews...

it is THE phone to get at the minute, in my humble opinion of course:)

look for it being released in the next week by the major operators

How much do you reckon i will be paying for an onmia second hand (just the handset) for those that got it but don't like it...etc...?

More than £300?
