Totally. One name I've not seen mentioned yet is Alun Cochrane, seen him compere at the Comedy Store a couple of times and thought he was really funny - dealt with a couple of hecklers brilliantly. Rich hall also had me in stitches.

My favourites, they are funny without having to resort to jokes about other races/religions etc.

Program wise, do enjoy Mock the Week, Hugh Dennis only comes out with the finest jokes, pity the same can't be said for Frankie Boyle.
