So painfully wrong, you're a marketeers wet dream.

I can show many examples where 720p TVs out perform 1080p TVs. There is so much more to it than just the resolution. It's like saying having more megapixels on your camera means it takes better pictures.

.. owned....

ofcourse numbers mean stuff... like "my graphics card has 512mb, im sure it can play crysis".. and "my pc is good because it's got 2gb of ram".. if the multimillion pound industries want our money im sure they will go about it a fair and ligitimate way, and no corruption or huge misleading-ness takes place, meanwhile im off to play crysis in dx10 which i am assured by microsoft is infanately better than crysis in dx9... :p

Me too, I upgraded from a Tosh 1080p x3030 and the difference is mind blowing. No going back to Lcd for me...:)

Thank god, horrible tv for standard tv viewing, but blu0rays and games look ok :D

Go for the PZ if you will be sitting close to the tv, say under ~8ft or using it a lot for gaming + some HTPC use. Go for the PX80 for normal freeview/sky vieiwng as it is much better than the PZ for this, plus it is also cheaper.

Make your choices ladies, but above all else, view the sets at a store or eve specialist with the footage you will be watching at home, get some user settings off avforums and configure the sets instore as they will all be setup very very badly without a shadow of a doubt.
