Antec Sonata III with 80 plus certified psu?

Not sure what the case and spu is like, but some reviews says it is good for a bundle but nothing to shout about i think.
Personally for the same price buy antec 300 case and the corsair 450W, nice case and decent psu.

I have this case, got it after christmas. The build quality is superb. oads of space and easy to install into. Lovely Piano Black finish. PSU is great and nice and quiet.

Got a 2180 C2D, 8800GT and a couple of sata disks and can hardly hear the thing when its on.

Well worth the money!!:D
 
It is probably a better idea to get the Antec and VX450, but it is pretty close. The two power supplies are actually the same, the VX450 is just made using a few better parts.
 
I have the case/psu combo, and love it. The only thing I would say is that if you plan on fiddling inside your case quite frequently it can become quite annoying to get different bits of hardware out.

Other than that, great case. Psu is very quiet.

Well they have 3 settings as you've probibly read, but my graphics card fan alone drowns out both the stock Antec ones on medium plus 2 Xilence Redwings...Both sets of fans are silent..antec ones only seem to get noticeably louder on high setting, even then its still my pants Gfx card fan.

What GFX card you got? Do you think the Three Hundred will be louder than a NZXT Lexa?
 
Got to be better than the PSU's in the previous version. We bought 4 Sonata II cases here at work and 2 years later all of the PSU's have failed and been replaced.

Pretty damn poor for a known brand.
 
I've got the original Sonata, it's proved very well, its basically retired to old systems now and i've cut'n'shut it a fair bit to make different things fit and work over the years, but essentially the Sonata II and III are very similar, and they're excellent cases and PSU's mines still running the original! I think you'll be very happy with it :)
