8800GT or 3870XT

Which of the above cards is better, seeing as there almost the same price. Ive always stuck with nvidia since my old 9800 pro but if the 3870 is a lot better then i'll get that

Yeah the 4850 is a nice card but tbh the 8800GT was streching it a bit, i guess i could always leave the new mobo for later....

Would a 4850 be ok ith a corsair VX450 PSU?
