A milkman just delivered milk to the house opposite.

At 12 midnight.

Huh? Is that.. normal? He was there 30 seconds and then drove away, at speed, with a float full of milk

You troll.

You spout this crap yet post it @ 11:59 ? ;):p

Ban Hammer tbh.

Yeah that’s about right for a milkman , my father used to be one 3 months ago,

used to do 14 hours a day with 1 day off!! Very hard work imo not for the faint hearted

Yup I get milk delivered by the milkie :)

I drink a few pints a week and rarely fancy stopping to get some on the way home from work. Plus I like supporting the local milkie and picking it up off the doorstep in the morning - plus re-usable glass bottles beats having tons of milk bottles in your bin/to recycle...

bum - I looked on the internet! A "milk delivery" search led me to Dairy Crest. They'll probably operate in your area... It's about 60p a pint I think, though.

At Speed? on a Milk Float? I can jog faster than a milk float.

Yes, at speed. It was a regular diesel Transit, not an electric thing.

Our regular milkman usually turns up between 3-4am, but if he's on holiday then our round gets shared between a few other milkmen and I've had milk before midnight as a result.

Most milkmen do still use the milk float but I've seen some using other vehicles. Tends to be primarily rural and business deliveries where that happens though.
