Carrying a Knife

Should be arrested. Religious laws come second place to the legal system. I can see now why people like Stalin try and crush religion.
 
the problem is sikhism comes from a time and place where police didnt exsist so having wise people walking around with the power to stop people doing wrong with a weapon was probably a good thing, but these days we have police, we don't need it anymore.
 
There is no room for Knife carrying, even if its part of a religion, they are dangerious full stop.

Theres nothing to stop him from using it.

I think my first post was worded wrong, I can understand a religion having objects as a major part of the belief, such as a Christian with a cross for example.

The fact of the matter is, he is walking down the street with a deadly weapon just because a book says he can, and the british government is too scared to lay down any laws preventing them.

In all fairness who's going to have the right mentality to be carrying one. I know which side of the road I'll try to be on if I saw a chav walking toward me..

Call this a racist input or what. I go to there country follow there rules, tehy should follow ours when in the uk, and stop using there religon as a reason not too.
 
We should pass a law that sends any person who believes in religion to jail or out of the country. Their beliefs in a stupid fake god make them worthless in my opinion.

im not saying that they are likely to use it, but the potential is there if they were to get angry or someone else could steal it and use it for example. Also if they only use it when its "needed" its up to them when its needed, bit swift justice for me.
