OCUK RR Day 8 - Matteh has a clio hybrid !

Just about to set off now. It's ****ing down out side, car will be filthy by the time I get there :(

I've just got back home. It was great to meet most of you today and I'm pretty happy with a bang on stock 260bhp.

Sorry I couldn't hang around for much longer, I'm sure you're all devastated :p. I haven't slept in 24 hours and I have to work at 2200 tonight so I need to catch some shuteye before then.

Wonder if Gibbo will win? I saw him this morning slipping something special into the fuel tank. I'm fairly sure it wasn't a banned substance...

Just got back. Sorry I didn't stay for long after the food, and my apologies to anyone who wanted a p-ride and didn't get one. Pretty happy with my result (310bhp), a little down on the dyno printout I have from when it was mapped (320bhp), but it was only pulling 0.6 bar of boost on the rollers today whereas on the road it pulls 0.85. Happy with the on road performance anyway, especially against that evo ;)

Good to see you all again and meet some new faces

I've still never spoken to you :( Didn't realise you wouldn't be at the pub, but understandable given you coming straight over from work!

Was good to meet everyone and put some faces to the names, and see some very nice cars :)

Cheers Phate for organising it :)

Gibbo, your mustang sounds awesome, damn quick too, when you went on the dual carriageway was impressive, funnily enough my little mr2 couldn't keep up :p

/\ that thing smokes like a ****** train man..
and why did you go past my house if you live in Bristol. :D

Oh yea, great day despite feeling embarrassed with the car park grand prix cars. :p

*cough* "Phate" *cough* Somewhere in that cloud of tyre smoke I guess was an MG

At least it wasn't outside work :D
