OCUK RR Day 8 - Matteh has a clio hybrid !

Well, I just got home from a cracking weekend!

First of all, thanks to Andy and his assistant at Powerstation for the professional and friendly service, top notch as usual. Also, thanks for the advice re the ignition timing on my car, I've got it set up properly now, its a right stormer now!

Jake - many thanks for organising mate, you did a great job!

Gibbo - thanks for the passenger ride, was good to finally go out in the 'Stang, what a monster :cool:

Meridian - thanks for the 4-up passenger ride, and brown trowser moment :D

InvanderGIR/Rob - thanks for having myself and Sam at your place on friday night, despite the trouble we had finding you!

Anyone else I've forgotten - thanks!

Wohoo - forgot to take you for a spin mate, come down to the next RR and i'll chuck you the keys :)

Drexel's motor sounds like a hyped up powerball or something lol, but in a good way :D
 
Anybody got a video of my motor on the rollers?

One thing that made me curious. The torque curve from my run was like the Irish Sea on a windy day. It was up and down like a yoyo, almost a perfect Sin curve. Is this normal and is there any way to make the torque delivery more appropriate?
 
Sorry Blain, this was the one run I missed. I went out to have a chat to a couple of the guys, came back and yours had just finished on the rollers :(
