For those of you who sweat a ridiculous amount during exercise, do you find that the sweat cracks (not that I can see the cracks) your skin on your forehead. Meaning that every time you sweat it stings like hell!

It's very annoying :(

Nope. I sweat copiously when working out/dancing in a club/whatever. Never found cracks on my head :/

The only time it stings is when the sweat gets into my eyes... oh man that burns!

The only times that sweat stings me is when it goes in my eyes or if I've stupidly shaved and applied aftershave shortly before going into the gym - a mistake I try not to make anymore.

try not to wipe your head so much with a towel, that damages the skin and is probably what causes the sweat to sting.

I complained about my skin seeming dry to my gf the other day, so we applied some moisturiser to my forehead. That was even worse than sweat it felt like I was on fire.

Oh and yeah I do use a towel, otherwise I tend to find a big puddle of sweat forming beneath my feet :(

I sweat a lot at he gym. Pretty much after about 5 minutes I build up a good sweat. It's just how my body works. I used to get the same problem with my forehead and dry skin because of this. I know a pool of sweat isn't the nicest of thing, but get a wad of tissue from a dispenser when you go to a machine and wipe it up when you're finished.

I once had gel in my hair, during a hockey match (never normally do), it rained, a LOT and my eyes were stinging like hell!

I think i was about 12, its a mistake i never made again :P

Sweatwise, i can be a bit of a waterfall, but never get a sore forehead!

could you not manage to do it yourself or something?

Edit: Actually I have a question for the sweaties, do your hands sweat a lot as mine are always damp even in winter (I always have warm hands). It's a bit uncomfortable living in a country where you kiss and shake EVERYONES hand especially when it's 34C and I know they're thinking "EURGH! sweaty Englishman"

lol, I moaned she applied. I didn't get much say in the matter

Yeah I get this when I play squash, I think its because i'm constantly wiping my forehead with dirty hands (that have been on raquet, touching walls etc) and with my t-shirt, which probably damages the skin

the skins cracking because your rubbing it

try dabbing with the towel instead of rubbing

leaving it alone altogether would be best though. softer towel etc could help

Only lately has my sweat started to sting during football. Don't know why.

Also it's going in my eyes more and hurts like hell.

Maybe it's the weather as it's been really hot when i've been playing.

Having stuff like moisturiser on before you go and then sweating through it can cause my face to sting (anti spot moisturiser).

I would recommend a sweatband, which also have the benefit of making you look professional ;)
