ok lets end this argument here

The only issue with PT Nuke is that it's copper sulphate and it massively increases the conductivity of the cooling fluid. A non-metallic anti-microbial like iodine or a phenol is a much better bet.

oh ok - thanks - anywhere easy to pick either of them up?

I wouldn't use Phenol or Iodine if you have any Acrylic (e.g. MCRes Micro) in the loop, just looking at the reaction sheet and they're listed at as the most reactive 'Material will decompose or dissolve in a short time', Copper Sulphate fairs a lot better, only very light attack. Corrosion inhibitors like Pentosin G11 have Glycols, they score a 'Moderate attack of appreciable absorption. Material will have a limited life '

I'm on Qualitex Ice Water - Proper medical grade distilled water (deionized, micropore filtered then reflux distilled) with an anti-algal agent, and guaranteed non-conductive for PC use.

Where do you get that from WJA96? (assuming it's not a competitor of course!)

ask at your local pharmacy. they most likely wont have it in stock, but will order it in for you. (my dads a pharmacist btw) it might not be the same brand (depends on pharmacy's suppiliers/distributors) but lots of similar medical grade products exist.
