Suprised there wasn't a thread on this already:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7542260.stm

BBC said:
Actress Mary-Kate Olsen will not speak to investigators about Heath Ledger's death unless she is granted immunity from prosecution.

Olsen was the first person contacted by the masseuse who discovered Ledger's body. Her lawyer said she has told the authorities all she knows.

DEA investigators suspect the painkillers oxycodone and hydrocodone found in Ledger's system were obtained with false prescriptions.

Police say the masseuse who discovered Ledger's body spent nine minutes making three calls to Olsen before dialling 911 for help, then rang the actress a fourth time after paramedics arrived.

At some point during the calls, Olsen, who was in California at the time, summoned her personal security guards to the apartment to help.

I found this quite a shocking development! Opinions?

By 'involved in Heath Ledgers death' you actually mean 'Allegedly, perhaps, knows where he got the drugs from'. Hardly the same thing is it?

Dosnt the fact that she wants immunity from prosecution give them a very big hint that she has done something bad.

Imagine if someone was suspected of murder and then would only agree to talk to police if they were allowed to be set free. What the hell, how obvious would it be that it was him.

I think asking for immunity from prosecution may go some way to backup your post!

Question marks are useful, much like the one in the thread title. Even so, if she supplied him with the drugs then I would say she is in some way involved with his death.

Lets make up a story to avoid some libel here..

Imagine Bob gets killed by an illegal gun. Fred didnt kill Bob, but Fred also bought an illegal gun and knows where the source is. Fred might therefore ask Police for immunity from prosecution over buying himself a similar illegal gun in return for the greater good of revealing the source.

Get it?

That's exactly how i see it, she either knows who supplied the drugs, used said drugs herself or both, and will not reveal this information unless guaranteed not to be prosecuted for the above.

Doesn't matter really, career down the crapper like Lindsay lohan, and both no talent skanks anywho.
