Skulltrail can SLI all Nvidia cards upto the 8 series range, 280 GTX SLI and 260 GTX SLI doesnt work yet as Nvidia have locked it out with there drivers, 2x 9800 GX2 is the fastest SLI setup that works, But 4 4870 or 4 4870x2 will be a lot faster :) Skulltrail is only really worth it is you get the xtreme chips but at nearly £1k each its a lot of cash.

So it can do tri but no normal sli with 280/260?

I believe it can now support SLI on the 260s/280s aswell, but only using the latest 177.79 beta drivers.

I've only seen one user confirm it so I won't be offloading my Ultras just yet, besides, I'd prefer to wait for the 55nm revision.

If it's true, a pair of 55mn 280's would be better for me than 1 or 2 4870X2s as the Skulltrail only has PCI-E 1.1 slots, which X2s would be heavily compromised by.

This is the first time I've heard of somebody enabling TRI SLI on the board, please somebody explain, should I just hunt down a third Ultra???

Couple of points about that rig, no side intake fans or active cooling on the RAM?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek:

Also, look how close the underside of the bottom card is to the top of the PSU, slightly worrying. One more thing, how does air get to the intake fan on the SB cooler? The middle card would block it entirely.
