is absolutely shocking online, really poor. They've said they're will be a patch soon that'll help fix some of problems but theres that many I doubt it to be honest

I wouldn't even bother with GT5p online, its a broken mess. Will have to wait till GT5 for proper online.

It handles like a bus, I doubt it has anything to do with lag, the physics in the SP are totally different to that in the MP. It just doesn't feel like the same game.

Whats the score with the cars also turning into ghosts and being able to drive through them one minute the they are solid the next
I think your in for an unpleasant surprise. It will be a huge departure from sensibility to make GT5 radically different from GT5P in handling terms. I find it quite acceptable, the new update doesnt show it too well considering the online race choices are rubbish.. i preferred Suzuka on expert, got some awesome racing there..
im still fuming too about number 3. on snipergeckos list ........I tried one race. I was in some sort of BMW 135 (I think it was), on an Oval ring circuit. Was doing rather well for my first race as i was about to take over 2 nsx's (at a much greater speed) when they saw me and decided to completely knock me off the track.
That was enough to put me off the game.

IIRC races are hosted by someone on their PS3, if the host has a poor connection it's all messed up, sometime opponents cars jump on the screen, couple that with the ramming is enough for me to skip online GT5P

I sold mine because of that. Once you "try" to get gold on every race that's about it unless you're a massive racing fan. Online is poop.
