Anyone going to the Bulldog Bash this year?

Was this the bash that was linked with that geezer getting shot on the m40?

What kind of bash is it anyway? Just a festival with bikes yeah?

Yep thats the one, yea its a load of bike lovers all getting together and enjoying plenty of beer and music pretty much

Just got here. Grabbing a bacon roll before setting up.

Careful if you're coming - they've set up a VOSA station opposite the entrance to Shakey.

Ground is a bit damp but it is warm and the skies are clearing.

IIRC its run by the Hells Angels - though AFAIK the UK chapters are a bit more respectable/law abiding than the ones in the US etc....

Yup is run by the HA and has been for over 20 years. Last years "incident" happend 14 miles from the event.

I've been going for 6 years and it's a hoot. Cold, cheap beer. Plenty of stuff to see and do. It's superb!

How's the ground looking Penski? Will be over tomorrow at some point in the afternoon.

Beer is usually £2 a can.

If you want to take booze in, put it in a rucksack under clothes etc. The usually check freezer boxes but it's impossible to ask EVERYONE to empty out their kit.

Ground is solid, a few puddles every now and then left over from rain a few days back. Really warm though. Quite humid too. Got the stall up (6mx6m with roof, walls and interior) and are about halfway through getting the stock out. Will post a pic once we're done.

Still not finished putting stock out. It's been well sunny all afternoon and I'm sweating like Garry Glitter in a nursery.

Looks like the weather will hold too :)

People round here all have trays of beer sitting out and nobody seems to mind.

Dunno what the attitude about it is tomorrow to sun though...

Probably a 'no glass' rule.
