I thought storms increase humidity, since it traps moisture between the land and storm clouds?

A very wet.. um.. cat indeed.

I stood in the garden for a bit in the rain watching the lightning. This, of course, would be so much easier if i didn't wear glasses.

No fair, I can see the sky illuminated every few seconds down to the south but it's just passing us by ... as they always seem to do

Chessington.

Sat outside the pub at like 11pm. Flashes of lightning so bright light but with no after-sound what so ever. No signs of rain or anything ...Really quite incredible. Never seen or heard (or not) anything like it in my life.

I was crossing London Bridge last night at about 9.30pm, great weather no rain what so ever but to the south east there were massive flashes of light that were lighting up the buildings, because the weather was so normal I almost thought it was a very bright camera flash nearby.
