Morning all,

Everybody I speak to lately - Complains about how they have issues with their in laws.

Do you think this is common?

I like my other half's parents a lot. Sure there are times when we can get on each others nerves and fuses are short but none of this battle-axe type stuff you see in films.

My wifes mum is an idiot and tried on several occasions to split us up, i had her sussesd from day one whe she married her other daughters ex husband :p

Get on really well with my in laws - went on holiday with them last year for two weeks (wife went as well).

We also went out to the cinema with them just last night, we get on pretty well despite my mother in laws attempts to give me food poisening with every Sunday dinner :p

It helps that my father in law is also a big fan of whisky like myself :D

although not married, I have met all the GF's family on many occasions over the past 2 years, suprisingly we get on really well, especially her dad, he's a right laugh

We have our moments, she's hassling me to have kids which winds me up, but she's been really nice to me since I broke my leg, cooking us meals for the week etc so I can't complain :)

My partner gets on ok with my parents, mum winds us both up equally!!

Mine are great and every other day they pop round because they've got another half tonne of butcher made sausages they need to get rid off, so I can't complain :)

Don't mind the inlaws apart from the Mother. The next time I see her will be when I'm tieing her to stake to start the witch burning.

Love my inlaws and have a great time with them.

They don't swear or blaspheme, so I don't in front of them (which can be hard when 'Jesus ******* Christ on a bike' is one of your favourite phrases) but we have a good time when we are together and I've got massive respect for both of them.

Besides whenever we go down there we get fed great food and we always come away with at least a case of wine.

Mind I only see them every three months or so, it might be different if it was every week.

I did, when dad wanted to kill me, but now he has come round to realise I'm ace :p

Her mum has always liked me however, perhaps a little TOO much :o

I get on well with my inlaws. Her parents are both really nice people and have helped us out a lot with various things.

My in-laws are awesome, right good laugh both of em!

Just moved into a new house with my fiancee and they've cleaned and decorated :D
