Do you really 'get on' with your in laws?

I have always counted my blessings when I realise how well the in-laws and out-laws got on. Sadly my father in-law has passed away and my mother in-law has demntia so I miss them both terribly and have great memories of holidays we all took together.

I used to get on extremely well with the ex's parents and sister, he got on well with my side of the family too.

same except its nearly 3 years in my case, her dad and i have a very similar sense of humor and both work in IT related fields so we often trade office jokes and bounce off each others comments.
