The Brothel Blog; would you read it?

A few spelling mistakes, reasonably succinct and I like the reference to LDN by Lily Allen in it. I'm not sure there will be enough content to make it a regular thing from what you've said but there is a bit of potential.

//edit Tefal, a nosy neighbour (DampCat) is rather different to governmental spying I'd have to suggest unless he subsequently reports to the authorities as part of a network of spies.

In one thread we have people complaining about cameras in public spaces invading privacy and breaching civil liberties, yet here we have a guy detailing what is happening inside a private house and no one batting an eye :/

Sigh. Alright, removed.

/end thread.

That's because this is interesting. It's popper detective work ;)

Besides if we entertain the OP long enough he'll end up going in!

It's going to be quite interesting, but how do you ever get any work done?

Burnsy

He's a professional peeping Tom, so I hear.

Interesting read. Think your thoughts are spot on.

My wife and I spotted two girls leaving a neighbours house a few weeks ago. The bleached blonde girls were there from 10am to 8pm and left carrying kids pool balls and clear platform heels.

You don't need to be a brain surgeon to work out what they were up to.

I would be skint if I worked next to a brothel.

Whats the big deal? I can see one from my office window and my Ex used to live below one of the more famous establishments in milton keynes.

The ones in MK have large very unsutble websites as well.
Never seen the appeal myself even though some of the girls are hot as hell, self respect has always got in the way.

Before anyone asks this is what google was invented for.

Yeah my spelling is poor. Is succinct a negative? I didn't want to make it a story. Also, couldn't remember if it was Kate Nash or LA, so thanks for that :)

I believe there is a difference betweenbetween CCTV and me looking to my left. Also, who's to say i'm not just making this up?

In any case, you're right. It is a private house, and i dont want to come off as a peeping tom, a voyeur or a spy. I honestly just thought it would be an amusing read. I wouldn't care if someone did it to me, but it's not my place to go spreading rumours. i understand that now :)

Who doesnt look out the window on their neighbours? If you're sat facing outside then you look out the window. If they didnt want u to see then they'd conduct their business in a more private location ;)

What he said. It's not like you're spying through their windows with binoculars. Just making observations from your window. Besides if it is definitely a knocking shop (like you saw money exchanging hands or something) then you should really report it. Something you wouldn't be able to do had you not made these observations to begin with.

The government watching what you do in public space's is one thing anyone can do that, but looking into someones house then telling loads of random people about it is a massive invasion of privacy.

But he'd not looking into the house, just making observations that anyone in public could make. DO you expect your doorstep to be private? No? Then it's not an invasion of privacy.

He was watching one make the bed, unless their bed is on the front lawn thats looking in :/

It's a knocking shop on a public street, they aren't being private about it so I don't see how he's invading their privacy.

If they didn't want the general public to know about it then they wouldn't flaunt it.

Oh big woop she was making the bed! Huge invasion of privacy :p

This really is a nosey neighbour on steroids. What will the blog look like, this?

8:15 a man enters the house
8:21 the postman drops off, I think, 3 letters
9:20 the man leaves the house carrying a bag - I don't know what's in the bag
9:40 a woman has left the house! She looks slutty!!!
9:50 she is back - with milk!

Seriously you need to question what the hell you're doing sometimes.

I dunno, if he was interested in giving this info to the police at some stage then it might be more justifiable.

As I say anything you can see from a window, so long as you're not making extra efforts to spy, is fair game.

Alright, i think we'd better lock this up before it get's out of hand.

I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, i asked for opinions and made a decision. It was wrong, i'm seedy and weird, let's all move on :)
